SiPearl Appoints Christophe Ménard as Chief Commercial Officer

MAISONS-LAFFITTE, France, June 6, 2024 — SiPearl, the company building the high-performance low-power European microprocessor for supercomputing and AI inference, has announced the appointment of Christophe Ménard as Chief Commercial Officer.

Previously holding sales leadership positions of the global IT groups Dell Technologies and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Ménard joined SiPearl on May 6, 2024. A member of the Executive Committee, Christophe is in charge of marketing, product marketing, pre-sales and sales organization to accelerate SiPearl’s growth and success.

Christophe Ménard (46, Master New technologies of information and communication, Clermont Auvergne University) has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer at SiPearl, the company building the high-performance low-power microprocessor dedicated to supercomputing and AI inference.

Christophe spent his whole career working for global IT leading companies, Dell Technologies and HPE, holding numerous leadership roles from marketing to sales and from France to international. Before joining SiPearl, he was responsible for the overall HPE France customer segments and sales organization totalizing over $600m revenues. Previously, he was EMEA Sales Senior Director Global Accounts of Dell Technologies with revenues over $500m. In these latter roles, Christophe set up diverse, multi-cultural and efficient organizations, driving them to success.

Passionate about geopolitics, current and future European challenges, he joined SiPearl on May 6, 2024. Building on his leadership capabilities and deep market knowledge, Christophe will leverage SiPearl’s existing organization – including Product Marketing team led by Craig Prunty – to carry out his mission. This includes product definition according to market needs, building a pre-sales and sales A-Team, and other responsibilities.

As a member of SiPearl’s Executive Committee, Christophe Ménard will report to Philippe Notton, CEO and Founder.

SiPearl is working in close collaboration with its 30 partners from the European Processor Initiative (EPI) consortium – leading names from the scientific community, supercomputing centres and industry – which are its stakeholders, future clients and end-users. SiPearl employs more than 200 people in France (Maisons-Laffitte, Grenoble, Massy, Sophia Antipolis), Germany (Duisburg), Italy (Bologna) and Spain (Barcelona).
