ThinkParQ Delivers BeeGFS into Latin America with Partner Versatus HPC

June 28, 2022

Kaiserslautern, Germany, June 28, 2022 — ThinkParQ, the company behind parallel file system BeeGFS, is pleased to announce its expansion into Latin America with local partner Versatus HPC.

Versatus HPC is the Brazilian pioneer in the field of HPC, providing turnkey and ready to use high performance computing solutions to their network of customers across a broad spectrum of industries. Integrating BeeGFS into their product line enables them to deliver an even higher performing turnkey solution to their customers, along with delivering 1st and 2nd level support by locally trained and certified BeeGFS System Engineers.

“We have been designing, deploying, and maintaining HPC clusters over a decade, and what we see is that with the endlessly increasing of supercomputers’ size, the pressure is being put on the storage layer. BeeGFS brings the ability to feed the hungry multiple-high-frequency cpus with an unimaginable throughput of data. Not to mention that unlike other traditional storage systems, BeeGFS may be expanded on-the-fly with no downtime, this is exactly what our customers need in order to achieve a better performance.“, says Denis dos Anjos, HPC director at Versatus HPC.

Following the exponential growth of BeeGFS across other regions including the USA and APAC, and maintaining its presence as one of the favoured parallel files systems across EMEA., expansion into the Latin American market with BeeGFS remains on paar with the ThinkParQ corporate growth strategy.

“We are really excited to be partnering with Versatus HPC in Brazil, along with the further opportunities this brings to us with delivering BeeGFS into the Latin America market” said Frank Herold, CEO of ThinkParQ. This is a really exciting time for Versatus HPC and ThinkParQ, and we look forward jointly delivering BeeGFS as a leading parallel filesystem to Latin American customers and long and successful partnership”.
